About Online Movement Breaks

Each Movement Break is 35 minutes or so.
On Mondays we will focus on being On the Floor.
Wednesdays the focus will be at middle level – so Tabletop position and variations.
Fridays we will be Standing.

The purpose of the OMB – Online Movement Breaks is to give you time to really focus on your body. We will use gentle stretches and breath, some known postures from yoga, dabbled in with biomechanical alignment protocols.

You will feel refreshed, invigorated, relaxed and ready to continue your day ahead.

I wanted to share the following which came to me, more as an idea than words but nevertheless, I hope that you will get the idea; that moving really is important, as feeling is important. Moving can be a pathway to feeling – and both are healing.

It is important to know how you feel, to be able to sense feeling in your body. Movement is a path to sensation. It calls us to keep noticing – noticing sensations in our bodies – this is our radar to our well being – physical, emotional, mental. It is the time. The chaos might have been in your mind or in the outside world, but really the only thing that has changed is your decision to make time for you to listen to your body. Through listening you are open to healing and dealing.

See you Monday!

In movement for health!
